6:30 AM Hotel to Taquile Island

Your Lake Titicaca Day Experience begins with pick-up at your hotel in Puno city and quick car ride to the port.
A private section covered motor boat with panoramic glass windows will take you to Taquile Island on a 2 hour 45 minute ride across the endless blue horizon of Lake Titicaca.
This direct boat navigation towards Taquile is a very convenient itinerary to skip the crowds at the floating Islands, along the way you’ll enjoy the view of the two peninsulas standing as a natural boundary between Aymara and Quechua speaking communities.
9:30 AM Taquile’s hiking trails and stunning landscape

Your private motorized moat arrives at the North tip of Taquile Island, from where you’ll start with the ascension through its stone paved serpent path.
You’ll be delighted with a gorgeous view of the Lake and Sun Island while your private English speaking tour guide informs you about the local tradition and Lake Titicaca’s insight.
Based on your physical condition you’ll reach the Main Square in about 40 minutes walking up. Taquile is popular by its art textile and men knitting tradition.
Following your exploration at the Taquile’s small square and insights, you’ll proceed to walk down to the port through a different route, an effortless path. You’ll descend the stone stairs and gain such great unique views of the Lake in a peaceful and quite place.
11:30 AM Taquile to Amantani Island
Amantani Island
Meet up again with your boat captain at a different port. You’ll start navigating from Taquile to Amantani Island across the immense Lake.
After 1 hour boat ride, you’ll disembark at Amantani and defy your own endurance at high altitude by hiking up again to Henry and Mariluz house.
Your extra effort will be rewarded with a well-deserved lunch. Your guide talks to you about the families and local traditions and legends.
Amantani island, we’ll meet the local family who will show us how they live, what they do and we’ll have chance to wear their typical clothes for picture, an authentic encountering with these friendly Islanders.
2:30 PM Amantani to Uros floating Islands
When you think your experience can’t get any better you’ll find yourself on your way to Uros reed Islands for a final spectacular sunset experience over Puno hills.
On your way from Amantani to Puno, you’ll stop at Uros Islands to learn about its process of building and maintenance. At the time you arrive at Uros you’ll find it less crowded and spoiled.

When the sun is gone you’ll make your way back to Puno enjoying the Puno city night light reflected in the lake. Your driver will pick you up on arrival and transfer you to your hotel.
