This is a typical itinerary for this experience.
Stop at: Hotel, Puno port, Uros Floating Islands, Taquile Island, Lake Titicaca and Puno, Peru.
7:15 AM Hotel to Uros Floating Islands

After the pick-up and transfer from your hotel to Puno port delivered by our friendly driver, onboard the Lake Titicaca Speed Boat, select your seat and wait for the other travellers.
The Titicaca fast boat will set off for Taquile Island, along the way you’ll stop at the reed floating Islands.
Your group bilingual guide delivers information about the Lake Titicaca fats, meaning, the history and way of life of the Uros people.
A local Uros islander and your guide will perform the process of building the reed floating Islands using a mini model, then after you’re invited to walk inside their reed houses. This is the very moment when you’d feel forced to buy their reed souvenirs and handicrafts.

Then after, you’ll be offered to ride the typical reed boat towards the next reed commercial island at additional cost of S/15 to S/20 soles (really optional).

Your Lake Titicaca Fast Boat Day Tour continues on to Taquile Island with a 1 hour 30 minute of navigation across the blue horizon.
On arrival at Taquile Island, you’ll walk up to the restaurant through the stone paved trail which might be a tortuous and exhausting ascension.
Taquile’s location has allowed their customs be very well preserved throughout the Spanish invading. It is a place where men make their very own hats or “Chullos” since they are 6 years old age, where the wedding process can last almost 1 week.
At the restaurant, you’ll have lunch based on Quinoa soup, grilled trout or vegetable omelet accompanied with rice and vegetables and Coca hot tea.
By the afternoon onboard again the motor speed boat and head back to Puno city.
4:00 PM – Puno port to hotel
Upon arrival at the Puno port you’ll be transferred to your hotel on a 15-minute car ride.
